Replace Sodium Alginate High DS CMC Textile Printing Grade
1. Our CMC textile printing grade is suitable for table, flat and
rotary screen printing machines for cotton fabrics.
2. As a sizing agent, our textile printing grade CMC has good
fluidity, easy to pass the sieve, allows prints with high colour
yield and excellent levelness and sharpness, even when several
overprints are carried out.
3. Our textile printing grade CMC thickener is washable and due to
its chemical constitution, does not show any affinity for the
reactive dyes and for cellulosic substrate, permitting to obtain
prints with very soft handle.
The main differences between our textile printitng grade CMC
thickener and pure sodium alginate can be summarised as follows:
√ Dosage is only 60 - 70% of sodium alginate.
√ Higher colour yield versus all HV pure alginate. Results show
that fabric color deviation can be eliminated when dyed in
sensitive color like coffee, bright blue, bright green, and better
√ Similar manufacturing technique, washability, higher speed of
printing on rotary machines.
The penetration of the prints allowed by our textile printitng
thickener is related to the type of fabric and the speed of
printing , and printing viscosity.
